Christy was born in Tyler, TX. In 1995 she moved to the Fort Worth area of North Texas after graduating from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX with a BA in education. She also attended training at The Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia & Learning Disorders at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, TX and earned a Certified Academic Language Specialist (CALT) certification. Spending so much of her life living in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, allowed Christy to specialize in the real estate market here, specifically in the areas of Cleburne, Joshua, Burleson, Godley, Alvarado, Keene, and Fort Worth.
Before becoming a Realtor, Christy was a Dyslexia Therapist. Her experiences in that field taught her attention to detail, organization, the importance of patience and kindness, and how to monitor and adjust to meet individual client needs -- all things that now help her with her real estate clients. Buying or selling real estate can be a difficult time, and Christy's calm and patient manner is a welcome breath of fresh air for her clients.
Christy chose to make EXIT Realty Elite her real estate home. As the second largest residential real estate company in North America, EXIT provides its agents with a hefty support system, state-of-the-art technology, and some of the best training in the business. EXIT’s intensive training system gives its agents the knowledge, skill and know-how to guide their clients smoothly through the real estate process.
In her free time, Christy enjoys spending time with her husband -- who is also a real estate agent with EXIT Realty Elite, and their three children. Their daughter has served in the Navy for four years and is now out and preparing for college. Their oldest son is searching for what he wants to do in life, and their youngest son will be starting high school in the fall. Christy, along with her daughter and youngest son, love to raise and show rabbits together. They participate in shows like the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, Houston Livestock Show, and many American Rabbit Breeders Association shows around the state of Texas.
